DPS Careers App: Revolutionising Global Recruitment

The Big Problem
To allow potential DPS job applicants to easily register for instant job notifications, browse or search for open positions specific to the skill set and apply for open positions instantly.
The Solution
To build a native app which will retrieve and display open positions using a JSON API. Open positions can be discovered by category, location, employment type, or keyword search. Users will be able to opt into receiving push notifications (delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging) for specific job categories. Potential applicants can apply for open positions instantly by entering either their details manually or importing from LinkedIn, and attaching a CV file. Applicants and new hires can also become acclimated with DPS’s company culture by keeping up to date with news, events and employee interviews.
